St. Luke’s Health Now Episode Discusses Perimenopause and Women’s Health
St. Luke’s University Health Network physicians share insights into navigating perimenopausal symptoms and improving women’s health at every stage of life.
The next episode of St. Luke’s Health Now will air Monday, Sept. 7, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ-TV Channel 69. In this episode, physicians from St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) will discuss perimenopause, the hormonal transition leading up to menopause, and how women can better manage symptoms affecting their physical, emotional, and overall well-being.
This episode features a panel of women’s health specialists from SLUHN:
Ann M. Freeman, DO, St. Luke’s Valley GYN Associates
Jaclyn Davolos, MD, OB-GYN Care Associates of St. Luke’s
“I start by getting to the core of what is the biggest source of bother for a patient, what symptoms are most pertinent to them,” said Dr. Davolos. “The other things I ask are, ‘How long has this been going on and what changes have happened during that time?’ so that when we go to treat menopause, we’re really treating the cause of their concerns.”
St. Luke’s Health Now, hosted by Ashley Russo, co-founder of Turnstone Creative, is a co-production of Turnstone and SLUHN.
