Vernard James joined the Turnstone Creative team in August 2023 as a videographer.

Born and raised in Allentown, Vernard has loved storytelling his entire life. His passion for videography led him to DeSales University, where he graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in television and film. While there, Vernard channeled his creativity and technical skills into producing short films. His work was honored with the DUFFY Award for Best Overall Film two years in a row at the DeSales University Film Festival. 

As a videographer, Vernard brings extensive talents in film, writing, directing, and editing. He is proud to pursue his filmmaking journey so close to home, sharing our clients’ stories right here in the Lehigh Valley. 

Even after work, Vernard’s heart belongs to film. When he’s not on set, Vernard loves watching films, playing basketball, and volunteering with teenagers at his church.
