St. Luke’s Health Now Episode Discusses Restoring Strength Through Physical Medicine
St. Luke’s University Health Network physicians offer insights into rehabilitation recovery.
The next episode of St. Luke’s Health Now will air on Monday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. In this episode, St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) physicians will discuss how physical medicine and rehabilitation can support recovery and help patients regain strength and independence.
This episode features a panel of physicians at SLUHN:
Eric Larsen, DO, St. Luke’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
John Danchak, DPT, St. Luke’s Acute Rehabilitation Center
“When we receive patients on our rehab unit, our focus and our function is on understanding what their needs are as a family, as an individual, and understanding what their big-picture goals are,” said Dr. Danchak. “We are focused on restoring function and making sure that, physically, people are able to manage themselves when they get home.”
St. Luke’s Health Now, hosted by Ashley Russo, co-founder of Turnstone Creative, is a co-production of Turnstone and SLUHN.
