St. Luke’s Health Now Episode Discusses How Physical Therapy Can Help Patients
St. Luke’s University Health Network physicians share how physical therapy supports recovery, mobility and long-term wellness.
The next episode of St. Luke’s Health Now will air Monday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ-TV Channel 69. In this episode, specialists from St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) discuss how physical therapy can help individuals reduce pain, recover from injuries and return to daily activities with greater strength and confidence.
This episode features a panel of physicians at SLUHN:
Alexander Brown, DPT
Giovanni Stracco, DPT
Rachel Stitt, DPT
“I chose to specialize in spine care because I feel physical therapists have the most profound effect,” says Dr. Stracco. “Patients come in with chronic pain or severe disability from back and neck pain very frequently, and sometimes just the right treatment brings a dramatic recovery. There’s something very special about that.”
St. Luke’s Health Now, hosted by Ashley Russo, co-founder of Turnstone Creative, is a co-production of Turnstone and SLUHN.
St. Luke's Health Now complements other St. Luke's health and wellness programming, including Talk with Your Doctor, a 30-minute live call-in show in its 21st year. St. Luke's Health Now and Talk with Your Doctor air in rotation every Monday at 6:30 PM on WFMZ-TV Channel 69 (Service Electric channel 508 and RCN channel 1007).
